The book begins with an introductory section, where the author tells us about the science of colors, color vision, and the politics of colors. In the book, she has poured her entire study and love for the origin and transition of colors. This led to more research and landed as an article on colors in the British Elle Decoration magazine.

Kassia was researching the 18th-century fashion when she came across interesting adjectives and nouns used to describe colors.
